In September 2006, she was joined by John MacPherson in an exciting new partnership that will see the spectacular training facility grow as one of the premier dressage destinations in Canada. Oakcrest sits on 59 acres and offers 26 box stalls, an 80’x200’ heated indoor arena with spectator seating, two boarders’ locker rooms, one with an eating area where riders often relax over lunch, a viewing and special events lounge with a full kitchen, a landscaped outdoor dressage ring, as well as grass and sand paddocks. Oakcrest is located in Stouffville, Ontario, and backs on York Regional Forest, where riders can enjoy miles of groomed trails. The farm is also an approved quarantine facility for transported horses, with four stalls available by appointment. John has spent many years representing Canada throughout the world as both a competitor and coach. He was the Silver Medalist as an invited competitor at the Sydney, Australia Invitational CDI*** in 2002, has twice won Bronze in the Can-Am Challenge at CDI-W Dressage at Devon, and has been a Canadian team long-listed rider. When he is not training and competing throughout Canada and the U.S., John is in great demand as a respected judge and as a coach in countries as far away as South Africa and Spain
